The Tunnel looks menacing.
Tunnel on the east side of Wolf Creek Pass. We were heading West.
This is the river just below the tunnel.
The water is moving very fast and looks cold.
Good thing they had this pull-off area. We needed to get out and
stretch our legs.
Well, the traffic is starting to increase. We'd better get to moving

True! There is light at the end of the tunnel!
We found this view on our way out of Durango on the way home.
These Elk were resting while the sprinkler system was going across
the field. We didn't stay long enough to watch them frolic in the sprinkler.
See the ranch house with the green roof in the background? This
is an Elk ranch. They have a shop at the ranch where they sell Elk
related products. We didn't go back there as we had already stopped
at a roadside vendor and made our purchases of Elk jerky earlier in
the week.
